Congratulations!

Every year during this season every year, there are a lot of things to celebrate. Somebody could celebrate his/her entrance into a new school, being a senior, or stepping into the larger society after graduation. For this reason, people start to belong to a new society and work on something new, different from the past year. In Hongik Style, I would like to celebrate the birthdays of two, that could be just passed over because of those other celebrations. What would these two feel in the middle of people celebrating their own beginnings of something?

Q1: What do you usually like to wear?
Q2: When is your birthday?
Q3: What are you planning to do this birthday?
Q4: Which birthday do you remember the most in your life?

Woo Yelim / Ceramic and Glass Art

A1: It Depends on situations or my mood. I like to wear both casual or formal clothes, but I don¡¯t usually wear too plain of clothes.
A2: It¡¯s April 5th.
A3: I¡¯m planning to have a big party with many people. My 22nd birthday has special meaning to me. I would like to invite my college and high school friends all together.
A4: It was my 20th birthday. I had four parties that year. Since it was the first birthday after I¡¯d legally become an adult, many people around me celebrated it with me. I remember that as the happiest and most meaningful.

Suh Jung-eun / Industrial Design
