  1. Hongik Main Library: A Library beyond a Library

Many students only consider the main library as a place full of university books or a place where we study at test preparation time. Other online services you could use from the library are the e-magazine services, such as 'Moazine' and 'PressReader'. 'Moazine' is an e-magazine service that provides 213 different domestic magazines. Famous magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Lonely Planet, or TIME are also included. Those of you who are interested in reading magazines, but couldn¡¯t because of their cost, should try to use this service. 'PressReader' is also an e-magazine service that provides magazines from over 120 different countries in 60 different languages. It could be very helpful for research or for students who want to study foreign languages.

  1. School Contests: A chance to test our competitive edge.

Just like in middle and high school, there are on-campus competitions at Hongik University. Presentation contests and book review contests are major examples. A presentation contest judges a student¡¯s presentation ability, and a book review contest tests your logical and critical thoughts. If you want to test your ability, participating in an on-campus competition could be a useful experience. Details about various contests are at the Hongik University website on the student notice board. You should look for future notices and participate in a contest.

  1. In- School Facilities: Places that might be helpful in our daily lives

Students can receive support from internal facilities at the school, such as career counseling and aptitude tests at the Employment Support Center. Moreover, there is a Student Counseling Center that provides counseling on inconveniences you might have from school life. Lastly, I want to let you know that you can get a body composition test at the Health Care Center for free. There are a lot of other school programs you can get help from, so try to enjoy the various benefits from the available school program.

  1. Volunteer Scholarship: Jobs with many advantages

Hongik University provide part-time jobs with a good work environment and pays more than the minimum hourly wage.
