Time flies. It feels like only a little while ago when we started this semester but now it's heading to the end. Days are becoming hotter and hotter. You may well be preparing for final exams, or you may be thinking and dreaming about summer break already. Before this semester began, I assumed that it would all be the same as how the last two years went. But I was wrong. We had offline courses and meetings in school. Every time I went to the Hongik campus, I could see more and more people. We, Tidings, also had changes in our regular meetings. We had mainly online meetings for the last two years, but this semester we held offline on-campus meetings while writing this issue. It definitely brought more vitality and intimacy to us.

For this issue, there were more stories reporters wanted to write than ever before. Among them, we tried to pick stories that need to be told at this time or stories that can provide useful information or entertainment. While writing some social articles in Reporter¡¯s Digest, reporters tried to write with as many objective facts while holding a fair view. There can be many more different views among readers of the articles, and if you want to share your view with us, we look forward to hearing from you through our emails or postcards. We always hope that Tidings could be a break from your studies and an entertaining read throughout your busy days.

Starting from this issue, there are changes in the sections of the magazine. We used to have Reporter¡¯s Digest, Arts, Academia, and Agora for our main sections. But from this issue, we¡¯ve added Technology and Feature Stories. We always wanted to share more stories about these day¡¯s technology issues but it was hard to fit them into the current format. From now on, you can see them in our new Technology section. Also, for the Feature Stories, articles with more depth will be written and the writer¡¯s autonomy with choosing the content and style will be encouraged. For this issue, there are two articles in Technology and one in Feature Stories. Don¡¯t you wonder what they are about?

Personally, this was the first issue of Tidings that I supervised as Editor-in-Chief. Throughout the process, I have encountered new challenges and tasks that I didn¡¯t face when I was only a reporter. I have learned a lot about managing the group and communicating with others involved through the process of trial and error. Thus, it makes me happier than ever to finally publish this issue. I hope you will be happy while reading this Tidings¡¯ May Issue, and as always, I look forward to seeing you again in September!
