The end of the year is near again. 2017 is going to its end so fast, just like the last year, or any other year that we have been through. Now, it might be time to wrap up someone’s club, class, exhibition, or school life. At the end of something, we always commemorate the past days and celebrate the upcoming days. In this November issue, (Hongik Tidings No. 200) we are also commemorating the past days from the Hongik Tidings No. 1 to No. 199, and welcoming a new start. I asked two people who have appeared in the Hongik Style section, at this time, what they are trying to end or start.

Q1: What do you like to wear usually?

Q2: At this time(almost at the end of 2017), are you planning anything to end or start?

Q3: Is there any 2017 new year plan that you haven’t achieved yet?

Q4: Can you imagine yourself in this season of 2018?

A1: I love Forever21, and other street fashion brands. I also love to match clothes colors. I guess most of my clothes is black.

A2: At this time, I’m trying to end my planless life. I would like to live a more calculated, intentional life. I’m also considering joining a branding design study club, and taking a fashion major class next year.

A3: I failed to find a boyfriend this year. I guess it might be the next year’s plan.

A4: I hope that I have a boyfriend in this season of the next year. I also want to be more brave and go abroad by myself. And, I’ll decide my future direction and be absorbed in it.

A1: I love street fashion, and my favorite color depends on the time and day.

A2: I have nothing special to end, and I’m producing lots of new music.

A3: I don’t really plan anything for one year, but I could say I failed to lose weight.

A4: Actually, it’s hard for me to imagine myself next year. Things I haven’t expected at all came true and things I tried to achieve didn’t come true this year. I just want to be happier.
